Started Dave the Diver with the sale.

[-] RebekahWSD@lemmy.world 2 points 4 months ago

Enjoy! I've loved it, with only a few things that make me annoyed.

Really love running the shop the most!

I was peer pressured by some friends into Project Zomboid a few weeks ago. We're having great fun, especially now that I've figured out the game properly.

And speaking of peer pressure, my character is a smoker.

Finally got around to playing The Witness and its a surprisingly good and simple puzzle game, I'm having a really good time so far.

Rocket league, random emulated games, and 50% through red dead redemption.

[-] fckreddit@lemmy.ml 4 points 4 months ago

RDR was the first game I ever completed. Such an amazing experience.

[-] Mountain_Mike_420@lemmy.ml 1 points 4 months ago

Tom is that you? Lol. If not: I litterly just had this conversation about a week ago and my buddy Tom said exactly the same thing.

[-] fckreddit@lemmy.ml 2 points 4 months ago
[-] Mountain_Mike_420@lemmy.ml 1 points 4 months ago

Humm. That also sounds like something Tom would say. Haha. Jk. Actually he told me he it was the first game he tried to 100 but there was a glitch and he only got to 99. Something. And that it pissed him off. lol.

[-] fckreddit@lemmy.ml 3 points 4 months ago

Thing about RDR is that challenges are a pain to complete. It also holds true for RDR2. I never bother with them.

Slay the Spire: surprisingly addicting for a simple card game. I played other online card games in the past and its the first I enjoyed deck building. I got fed up though because I lost to the third boss in my Watcher run. I'm doing an Ironclad run again because he's my favorite.

Oxygen Not Included: I put almost 30 hours in my first two days. I like Rimworld more for the combat but it's still pretty fun.

I'm thinking of buying Civilization V on Steam. I'm fed up with League of Legends, I need something else to play especially for the summer.

Civ5 has been my favorite in the series. They did a great job with the AI on that one, and it gave the game so much replay value for me.

I just started playing dmc devil may cry, the story and characters are a con for me, but the gameplay is really fun and i love the art design

[-] all-knight-party@kbin.run 4 points 4 months ago

Yes! I love the system of using the triggers for different weapons. You can weave them through your combos effortlessly. The level design is really cool and just continually gets cooler as you go.

[-] drew_belloc@programming.dev 1 points 4 months ago

Yeah, i would love to see a character use this system in a future devil may cry, i also love the fact that i can remove upgrades to get another without any problem, so if i don't like a move i can just change it for another one later

If you like platformers, try Marsupilami. It has a slow start but the later levels and free DLC levels are a bit more challenging without ever getting frustrating. Only bad thing I have to say about the game is that cloudsaves seem broken and the targetselection on the grappling points is janky. Just give it a shot, it‘s dirt cheap anyway.

[-] cod@lemmy.world 3 points 4 months ago

Looks like it’s on sale right now for a few bucks. I think I’ll give it a shot when I’m next looking for something to play

[-] Cheems@lemmy.world 6 points 4 months ago

I've renewed my old addiction to rimworld.

[-] mysticpickle@lemmy.ca 5 points 4 months ago

Puzzle quest 1: challenge of the warlords

All the sequels and spin offs were such a disappointment compared to the original.

[-] fckreddit@lemmy.ml 5 points 4 months ago

Playing through Psychonauts 2. Almost at an end.

[-] trslim@pawb.social 4 points 4 months ago

I have been playing Xcom Long War and streaming it to my friends so they can watch themselves die horribly.

I’m going to take over doing the monthly threads, the other mod hasn’t posted one in 3 months

[-] mossy_@lemmy.world 4 points 4 months ago

I was reading about Daggerfall Unity (I think it was on Lemmy probably) but I haven't downloaded it yet. Has anyone tried it?

[-] Rez@sh.itjust.works 4 points 4 months ago

Yes, it's really good! I do think that it can become a bit repetitive towards the end, but it's worth it for the beginning moments of exploration and discovery. If you haven't played a similar game like Morrowind before, I'd recommend looking for a guide that would explain character creation and skills. I never played the original, so I am no purist and would encourage you to check out some QoL mods and definitely turn on smaller dungeons in the settings, even for a first playtrough. Have fun, if you decide to try it!

[-] mossy_@lemmy.world 3 points 4 months ago

Thanks for the recommendation! I'm no purist so I'll definitely download some mods for it

[-] ReeferPirate@lemy.lol 3 points 4 months ago

In anticipation of the D&D campaign I'm starting next week I've been playing the wailing death campaign of Neverwinter Nights. It's been fun despite the pace being a little slow

[-] Zahille7@lemmy.world 3 points 4 months ago

I'm replaying Jedi Survivor on my PC because my first save glitched out and wouldn't give me bounties. So I'm going through NG+ trying to get them all, because they're the only things I'm missing to make it 100%.

It's still pretty fun. The customization is pretty great, the story is good, the acting is well done, the combat is fine (just make sure you don't get swarmed); it's just a really solid Star Wars game.

[-] delitomatoes@lemm.ee 1 points 4 months ago

Is the performance and bugs still broken?

[-] Zahille7@lemmy.world 1 points 4 months ago

Performance isn't too bad, I haven't really run into many bugs this time around. Granted the only major bug I experienced in my first playthrough was incomplete bounties, this time around one time I fell through the ship when I was trying to use the workbench and I couldn't respawn normally so I had to exit the game. I just had to restart and it loaded me right in the shop no problem.

[-] TheMetaleek@sh.itjust.works 3 points 4 months ago

Continuing a deep rock galactic addiction, and used the sales to start sea of thieves with some mates, having a blast for the moment!

[-] rolacolaji@piefed.social 3 points 4 months ago

Playing Predynastic Egypt, because it's slow and simple and that's how I seemingly like my games nowadays. Just wish the camera didn't fly all over the place when I uncovered a new space. I hated that in Mini Metro, and I hate it here too. My kingdom for a toggle!

[-] RizzRustbolt@lemmy.world 3 points 4 months ago

Nightingale. I'm a sucker for granular crafting systems. And now that you can pause the game, it's worth getting.

[-] Zurgo@lemmy.dbzer0.com 3 points 4 months ago

I just picked up Steam world Quest because I like Slay the Spire, its fun but I do miss the ability to really break the game like in StS, different genre I guess. Also UI is so cluttered, a lot of clicks to find important information. Glad it was on sale

[-] njm1314@lemmy.world 3 points 4 months ago

Well I discovered the Anbennar mod EU4 so about 1000 hours of that I bet.

[-] sugar_in_your_tea@sh.itjust.works 3 points 4 months ago* (last edited 4 months ago)

Playing a few indies, such as:

  • Euro Truck Simulator 2 - not for me, but I'll do a few trips anyway
  • He'll Pie
  • Lair of the Clockwork God

Will probably start Yakuza 3 soon as well. I might finally set up an emulator on my Steam Deck to play some Nintendo games as well.
