That's not fair! That chart shows the spending bump from Covid relief funds. It's current level is in line with increases when you adjust for the outlier years of Covid relief. The economy is doing great so social spending doesn't need to increase that much anyway. Now please give us %26 of your income in taxes so that we can ~~redistribute it to military contractors~~ create high paying American jobs!
