I found a TRS-80 Model 4 at Goodwill the other day and was anticipating having to spend some time fixing it up but it all just works. Even both disk drives and the LSDOS 6.3 floppy that was inside work like they're brand new. I have some parts on the way to make a cassette cable so I can load programs from my laptop instead of typing the basic in by hand. Any recs? If it matters it's one of the B&W (not green) ones with 128k RAM.

We had great fun playing on my friend's trs-80. I mainly remember Super Nova, Donkey Kong, and Frogger

I had a c64 and a Timex Sinclair zx80, missed out on the Trash 80 tho. I think you have a responsibility to find old gaming mags and input the source code for them by hand like we used to do.

I have a book called "Celestial Basic" that has a bunch of basic programs for astronomy stuff that I'm going to try a few programs from, but unless I can find some physical magazines it seems silly to copy text from my laptop screen to the computer.
