On the one hand you have the Republicans saying shaitan immigrants eat pets but at least we have the democrats who were responsible for every bad thing that happened in Haiti and are also calling to stop immigration from that country to solve it.

Granted they probably weren't eating people's domestic cats in whatever case the politician was talking about, but cat-stew is a thing in Haitian culture.

The level of political discourse is abysmal
It really is crazy that "person who doesn't believe unhinged racist conspiracy theories but is also opposed to open, grandstanding genpcide" is a non viable political position in this country.
Apart from the political and economic reasons, sometimes I really think that white people make up these horrible lies because they know deep down they are the irredeemable monsters and they feel a desperate need to project.
Yea as a white person it's really obvious when other sub mediocre white people come up with excuses for why they're better than minorities.
If you have to lie about other people eating pets to be morally superior by comparison that says more about you then the obviously fictional boogeyman you clearly just made up on the spot.
It's like when they get obsessed with telling everybody they aren't a pedophile to prove they actually could be worse (before immeditaly being revealed as a pedophile)
