What does NATO want in the Arctic? Its fucking cold there
Same bro
They weren't even ready for the war they started themselves
Russia, the second most powerful military force within Russian territory, is prepared to take on NATO, the largest military force in the history of the world, in a war in the article.
Sir, this is a Wendy's.
They're having a hard enough time "fighting NATO" in Ukraine...
And NATO haven't even turned up yet
Russia is weak and pathetic
yeah its like after completely failing in far milder conditions they are going to just excel in the artic. lol.
Sounds right, and I’m sure worried. They rolled through Kyiv in 3 days because they’re so prepared!
Don't forget how perfectly adequately the troops were supplied. Real body armor, real semtex, real reactive armor, well maintained small arms, plenty of food and warm clothes.
I am terrified about the prospects of an artic war with such a well supplied army.
and they sure have their navy on lockdown, no problems with ships randomly setting on fire or anything like that.
Largest permanent submarine fleet in the world...
New submarines added all the time, even.
The Arctic is the northernmost point on Earth and includes territory belonging to eight nations: Norway, Sweden, Finland, Denmark, Canada, the United States, Iceland and Russia. All except Russia are NATO members.
tbf, that wasn't true before the current phase of the Russo-Ukrainian War.
For real, though, from a purely realpolitik perspective, what a fucking disaster this has been for Russia. Fuck them, though. And fuck them even harder than they're currently getting fucked, until they get the fuck out of Ukraine.
I think we should just keep fucking them until Putin is no longer in power.
They weren’t even ready for a war at Kursk, which they had been warned of, against a country that was already busy getting attacked by Russia.
They weren't even ready to surprise Ukraine with a war. And they planned it.
Russia is “fully ready” for a conflict with NATO in the Arctic, the country’s foreign minister warned.
Yeah? Nobody asked, silly country.
russia wasn't even ready for war when they invaded Ukraine.
Keep in mind the challenges of fighting in the Arctic, for both men and machines. Even a top-tier military is going to struggle and Russia thinks they have a handle on it?!
They are not even ready to defend their own country being invaded on foot...
"We are ready with our malnourished troops, six tanks series of explosions three tanks, and 2 leaky ships and a submarine in dry dock explosion is heard no submarine in dry dock.
After the rousing success of their military action in Ukraine which was predicted to be concluded in a matter of weeks, more than 2 and a half years ago, I don't see why they wouldn't be eager to fight multiple opponents on multiple fronts. How could that possibly go wrong for them?
/s
They weren't even "fully ready" for Ukraine....
Last time they tried to wage arctic warfare they lost more men to the cold than bullets and artillery.
To quote the kids on the playground: "You and what army?"
“The fact that I am saying these things out loud at a press conference is how you know they are true, and not the other way around.”
To quote my DM when I’m about to cause a near TPK: „You can certainly try.“
What would you like your tombstone to say?
🤣
His comment, or the country as a whole?
Both are complete fucking jokes at this point.
Tamgent point here.
Many of these countries also have territory claims in Antarctica. For reasons.
Russia is “fully ready” for a conflict with NATO in the Arctic, the country’s foreign minister warned...
...After putting the lid back on the jar of Vaseline and assuming the position.
Cosmoline, they have cosmoline for military lubrication.
Holy shit, grab your popcorn. I'm not sure they're even ready for a runner in their pantyhose, let alone war on another front. What the fuck?
Perun on YouTube has a recent video looking at how the warming atmospheric and military climates are affecting the world's arctic powers. If anyone wants more detail than just 'lolrussia' (but also still some lolrussia).
Lol, even Canadian Army would be able to win this (I hope...)
69th Cobra chicken squadron on standby.
Maybe finish your half-baked imperialistic land-grab before you go for dessert (the kind of dessert that leaves your army rotting in the fields)
