D6 because D6 pools are used by other systems to make skill checks/attack rolls that aren't incredibly swingy
this, and also the added bonus of being the dice of the proletariat and used in a ton of different board and card games. plus you're far more likely to scrounge up some D6 from a dusty shelf in a pinch than anything else
D4 because magic missile and especially since one of my DM got very angry and slammed his palm on table directly into it and the memory is warming me all those years.
Also D4 is the oldest known game dice, it was used in the Royal Game of Ur.
D12 because it means you're probably playing a Barbarian
