biden's been a political figure my entire life and i remember being terrified of him because of the anti-gay rhetoric he espoused for decades and for reaching out to THOROUGHLY despicable people to help them in their fight against progress in things like school de-segregation.

seeing him magically hailed as the most progressive presidential ally in history simply because of the toothless respect for marriage act and a pro-gay-marriage gaffe a decade earlier proved to me that political legacies are easily ignored and i expect that the gaza genocide will likewise be swept under the rug in the future like all american backed genocides usually are.

I think it explains why they thought going to the right was going to work even though it clearly didn't in 2016.

I still bring up what Obama did to Libya, they love to whitewash warmongers, I love to tell the truth.
