Any build plans? I'll be going life stacking cold bloodmage. I've always been a fan of anything that scales defence and offense simultaneously so being able to get crit from life and cc from damage sounds like a good way to learn.
I think I'm going to do mana stacking. Maybe as stormweaver. Mana regen in POE had a base of 1.8% per second. In POE2, it is changed to 4% base. Then the stormweaver ascendancy gives you a MORE multiplier on mana regen based on total mana amount. Mana regen should scale quite high.
Also they changed the way that attributes work. In POE 1, 2 int gives you 1 mana or 2 str gives you 1 life. In POE 2, 1 int gives you 2 mana or 1 str gives you 2 life.
I see the hardcore fans are already much more advanced than my "I'm gonna shoot flaming skulls at them" tier of theory.
Raging spirits will probably be good too. Honestly, everyone talking about how x class is gonna be broken probably don't know what they're talking about because we simply do not know what kinds of numbers we'll have. In PoE1, some skills that have good mechanics are not very competitive because their numbers aren't good. In PoE2 there is absolutely 0 chance that everything is just balanced right out the start so chances are some unexpected things will be good and some things we thought would be bad end up strong.
