lol they actually have a sign? we're just out of random shit all the time. the hogs have come to accept the news when i tell them we're out of the bazingameal today, they're usually not happy but there's some tacit level understanding there that the supply chain labor supply and other things are completely fucked that wasn't there pre 2020.
edit: i should add those hogs are the ones that come thru my place, i can't speak for every hog out there
In my past experience most of the treat hogs tend to get it, but there's always a few who declare we are "lying" when we say we are out of their favourite treat. Some people absolutely cannot handle the treat dispenser being switched off, even for a day.
At least they're being honest. When we had an egg shortage in Australia there were signs saying there was a shortage of eggs due to increased demand. It wasn't increased demand, they had to cull chickens because of bird flu, it was a shortage!
We just got over a shortage of tomatoes (or supposed shortage, I didn't really see a dip in product) in the US because of the hurricane in Florida.
this is absolutely going to spur a movement to boycott them among the chuds that don’t believe in climate change

I didn't see anything missing; just thought it was a funny sign. I guess they put them up preemptively since it's like sixty fucking degrees outside mid December.

it's probably just a blanket statement not a specific item, i haven't noticed an actual pattern to being out of anything specific like chicken or shramp or whatever it's usually just random shit like an ingredient to sauces or fucking coffee filters or some bullshit
