The space pirates on the bridge of their ship

HE'S TEN YEARS OLD AND THEY'VE TAKEN HIM TEN-MILLION MILES INTO SPACE.

Space pirates conduct a raid on the Corporation planet of Procyon 3. During a shootout, Peter, a young boy, takes refuge aboard a spaceship only for the outlaws to steal it. Hawk, the pirate leader, befriends Peter and promises that he will return him home. The group is soon pursued by various lowlifes wanting to snatch the boy for the ransom they know The Corporation will pay.

Peter, the young boy, is very excited to be on a space adventure

Roger Corman recycles the spaceships and score from Battle Beyond the Stars to create another low-budget space opera. Space Raiders stars the kid from Sylvester Stallone vehicle Over The Top.

Just watched it. Not bad, not good. Generic 80s kid with a bowl haircut. We watched Battle Beyond the Stars a couple weeks ago on Monsterdon and I didn't even notice the spaceship footage and score reusage.
