What you mean Groking the people the Trump admin are arresting and shipping off to the super jail in south america as anime characters is in poor taste?
At the very least they should have the single shred of decency to use one of the fascist anime art styles like Attack on Titan or Fire Force or something
Glad to hear from a director, however this is one of the worst articles I've ever read. It even replicates the quote from Miyazaki about something totally different. I think the article itself might genuinely be written by AI, even a commenter notes this. Get better links!
