Hamas statement regarding the passing of Pope Francis:

The Islamic Resistance Movement extends its deepest condolences and sincere sympathy to the Catholic Church worldwide and to all Christians on the passing of His Holiness Pope Francis, Pope of the Vatican, who passed away after a distinguished career in the service of human and religious values.

The late Pope Francis was a noted advocate of interfaith dialogue, calling for understanding and peace among peoples, and rejecting hatred and racism. On more than one occasion, he expressed his rejection of aggression and wars in the world, and was one of the prominent religious voices to condemn the war crimes and genocide being perpetrated against the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip.

While we, in the Islamic Resistance Movement movement, value his moral and humanitarian stances, we emphasize the importance of continuing the joint efforts between the bearers of divine messages and people of living consciences to confront injustice and colonialism, and to support the causes of justice, freedom, and the rights of oppressed peoples. 

"It Is Heartbreaking": Speaker Of Danish Parliament Proposes Free Counseling For Those Voted Out Of Parliament

The Danish welfare state is not crumbling everywhere, in fact there are people who are trying to expand it. One of these people is Søren Gade, the Liberal Party speaker of the Nordic hermit kingdom's rubber-stamp parliament.

Gade is proposing to give counselling to MP's who fail to gain reelection. Gade has not settled on a concrete scene but he is proposing that ex-MP's should receive psychologist appointments or help from headhunters free of charge.

Gade is proposing this after having conversations with several ex-politicians who were voted out in the 2022 general election. "It dawns to me that some of my former colleagues had actually been struck by depression or a depression-like condition after being voted out of parliament," Gade says to Danish state media and closing he have heard of ex-politicians who "doesn't leave the house or feel like they have to stay in bed most of the days". He sympathises with the emotional pain of the ex-MP's who are turned down by voters: "It is heartbreaking that you want it so much and then you don't get it."

Gade compares his proposed scheme with what several big companies provide to workers who are laid off.

Danish workers who are fired do not have access to free counselling unless their employer choose to provide it for them. Gade is not suggesting to make such counselling a right for everyone, just for ex-politicians

Unfortunately for Gade his colleagues in parliament have a less humane attitude to the most vulnerable in society, such as ex-MP's, and his proposal has failed to gain support from anyone.

Ecuador's Pachakutik recognizes the reelection of corrupt narco millionaire US-puppet president Daniel Noboa.

CIA backed "leftist" party strikes once again.

According to American-Venezuelan lawyer Eva Golinger, during the 2010 Ecuador coup d'état attempt, Pachakutik stated that President Rafael Correa was authoritarian and issued a press release opposing him and supporting police and army rebels. Golinger accused Pachakutik of having accepted funding from USAID and NED, and playing a role as part of a United States plan to destabilise Latin American democracies in the Bolivarian Alliance for the Americas (ALBA).

Pachakutik denied "having any relationship at all with the organism known as USAID, previously NED, not today nor ever". Golinger responded by referring to a National Democratic Institute (NDI, one of the four institutes funded by NED) report from 2007 describing Pachakutik being trained by the NDI in "Triangle of Party Best Practices and strategic planning methodologies" as part of NDI's Latin American/Caribbean Political Party Network of over 1400 individual members, funded under NED Core Grants 2000-031, 2001-048, 2003-028, and 2004-036.

Peru's former first lady, Nadine Alarcón, has taken refuge in the Brazilian embassy in Lima and is seeking asylum in Brazil after being sentenced to 15 years in prison for money laundering. Nadine claims political persecution in her request for asylum in Brazil. Both countries are signatories to the 1954 Convention on Diplomatic Asylum, which grants diplomatic protection to politically persecuted people in Latin America. The Brazilian and the Peruvian Ministry of Foreign Affairs are in talks about the situation.

The Brazilian goverment confirmed that Nadine is at the Brazilian embassy in Lima, but has not yet confirmed that the request has been accepted by the Brazilian government. Former Peruvian president Ollanta Humala and his wife, Nadine Heredia, were sentenced to 15 years in prison for money laundering. They received US$ 3 million from Odebrecht and US$ 600,000 from the Chávez government, used in campaigns. Justice points to false contracts and fictitious donations. The conviction is based on evidence such as Nadine's diaries with notes of transfers, forensic reports, and testimony from 112 donors and Odebrecht executives, who confirmed the payments. Nadine's brother was convicted and their party fined.

Humala was taken to Barbadillo prison, where other former Peruvian presidents are held. Nadine has requested diplomatic asylum in Brazil. The case is yet another chapter in the car wash scandal, which has affected almost all former Peruvian leaders since 2001.
