Do it. Give me war against the USA and I might consider enlisting. (jk) unless dean-smile

Yes. I took pics of everything I have a while ago. Should do so soon again.

I wish you said Slavslop...that would have been fun instead. Just quirky little eastern europe stories

Exactly. The chance of Marines storming Alberta is like 0....and one has to assume some higher ups would be aware of all the implictions a US annexation of Canada would have. But who knows....

Im actually fully in agreement. Of course, the idea of the USA annexing Canada is laughable right now, but if you entertain it for a moment... it could shatter the entire Western order. Not because Canada could resist the USA, but because it would break the very foundations many people believe the Western world is built upon.

Even a relatively bloodless annexation has massive potential to radicalize the masses within the imperial core.

As others said before it is HIGHLY unlikely to happen....but if the US seriously would invade Canada I would at the very least give critical support to Canada. It would be another mark against the US on the Worldstage if the US invaded or even peacefully annexed one of its closest allies. It would make even NAFO dogs uneasy if that happened. Now this is not me saying it would be good if it happened...but if it happened I feel like it could increase the instability of the Western block by a lot.

So, I’ve played a bit of Distant Worlds 2 here and there—less then 20 hours—but it never really clicked for me. I wanna give it a proper in-depth try again since its had quite a few updates and new species and a expansion added since I last played.

I kinda struggle to find the right ballance between automation and manual gameplay, which makes it harder to get into. Honestly, I’m abit suprised I’ve struggled with it so much, but something just feels like its missing for me.

For context, I’m pretty fond of Stellaris/ Crusader Kings 3 and have played those for a couple hundred hours, plus I have played various Space 4x games like Endless Space, GalCiv etc.

Any input - tips or tricks are welcome . Thanks in advance mario-thumbs-up

Yes I know someone made a thread about the 1st game a couple of hours a ago- but that reminded me I got the 2nd part - Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord here and im not sure what mods to get for it. I only dabbled in it for a couple of hours but I wanna give it a serious try this year.

I mostly want Roleplaying or quality of life improvements. GFX stuff is cool as well.

Im open to everything but total conversion mods ( Im gonna bother with those after I have a better understanding of the game)

Tips and tricks are also welcome.

Frostpunk 2 huh ? (hexbear.net)

So the truth is I didn’t care much for Frostpunk 1. Just seemed like a survival city builder with some story elements. I can see why people like it but it didnt exactly wow me.

Frostpunk 2 seems different, though—the grander scale and apparent focus on politics really intrigue me.

I enjoy games like Victoria 3, Suzerain, etc. Does it scratch a similar itch? Or is the political arena much less impactful?

My corporate overlords decided I get some vacation during this time of year, it being the holidays and all that. With some free days on my hands I'm planning to mess around with a couple games.

First up is Millennia a 4X game kinda like Civ. The twist is there are different ages that go off the rails from real history—so you can get a steampunk age or one where aliens invade and stuff like that. I barely touched it when it came out but now, after 7 updates, I figure I will give it a proper try.

Then theres Songs of Conquest, an indie game with amazing pixel art that’s sorta like the old Heroes of Might and Magic games- I might play this with a friend early next year as well.

EDIT: OK im feeling a bit tired so Im just gonna play my current Crusader Kings 3 save till I go 2 bed. Happy Holidays everyone

What are the fine folks on Hexbear playing obama
