No. Not this time. It's fiction. We made it up. This one was invented by a writer. We got you. It never happened.

One thing that pisses me off with modern UI design is the lack of labels beside icons.

Anyone who paid any more for this game should get their money back immediately.

They are one of the most egregious examples of a monopoly. Fuck them!

IIRC there was also a manipulated photo of a thylacine with a chicken that contributed to the perceprion that they were killing all the livestock, leading the government to put a bounty on them.

The story of their extinction is so sad. They were beautiful animals.

School shooters still thinking they're going to become as infamous as Columbine. They're just getting added to the huge pile of names.

Nobody will remember you.

I think most USA hate comes from the US government's history of global political interference. It's understandable. For the same reason that Britain is still viewed negatively in many parts of the world.

Personally, I don't hate the US or Americans generally. Things exported from the US whether physically, technologically, or culturally have played a major part of my life. It would be dumb to have a blanket hatred of anything American.

Most Americans I've met have been very friendly and cheerful.

Why do we cry? (reddthat.com)

Obviously crying is the result of feeling strong emotions. But is there a physical/biological reason for it? What is the purpose of tears and wet eyes?

So I have Tasker and I'm a total novice with it.

I'd like to create a simple task that shows the auto-rotate icon in my status bar when auto-rotate is on. Then when it's turned back off, make the icon disappear.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I know this is kind of random. I've got a black necklace with a long round pendant on it, and I think I look better topless when I wear it. I'm not sure why.

I bought this game 3 days ago and I'm totally hooked. It's still in early access alpha, though.

This is my totally made up WW2 Japanese light howitzer, built from scratch!

I'm looking for a watch that is able to do basic "smart" things like show notifications and ping my phone if I misplace it. A timer/stopwatch would also be good, and a long lasting battery.

I have no interest in an Apple watch or Galaxy watch, so I'm looking for something comparatively cheap.
