They have as much need for antivirus software as an iPhone does.

I'm confused by the title. Google Glass came in 2013. Meta didn't release a vr headset until 2019. Not to mention wearables are more than vr/ar headsets. Android wear came out in 2014.

I still use mine for voice commands with home assistant. Works great.
