Thank you for being one of the few people in this thread with any sense.
No you aren't, you're using a record shattering disaster to try to make some really fucking stupid point about how vague 'other countries' are somehow much better than America.
Disasters happen everywhere. Get your head out of your ass, you usually can string together a decent point, but this is just idiotic.
There's no functional difference in space stations, the procedural generation is pretty limited to the general appearance, and honestly besides the color inside I rarely even notice a difference. There's no skill involved with flying either, when you get close to the entrance, you get sucked right in by an autopilot.
There's very little opportunity for skilled flying unfortunately, though it can be fun to fly around floating islands and crazy land formations on planets.
If the on foot stuff sounds appealing to you as well, the game might be worth it, but if your only interest is in flying I would give this one a pass.
Read the study before jumping to obvious and incorrect conclusions. All the participants in the study have guns in the house.
I mean, it's kinda there, but getting to the 'next' universe isn't simple. You'd be locking 90% of players out of any new content until they essentially 'beat' the game, and then have to do it again on any other save files, or after any new updates. They'd have to completely redesign how the alternate galaxies work both mechanically and story wise for that to really work.
She's doing exactly the same thing the dude you just accused of oppression is doing.
The main difference is that she has billions of dollars to promote her perspective, and millions of followers that listen to what she has to say. The dude "oppressing" her in this situation is just some random nobody on a site that might as well not even exist for all the cultural power it wields.
You had a pretty reasonable argument on the first post, but this took a hard turn into bullshit real quick.
The majority of the current 'democrat' party in the US are Neoliberals. Yeah it's a right wing ideology, that's the whole point of recognizing that even the 'left wing' here are still primarily conservatives.
It doesn't need to be forced. All that's needed is education and easy access to birth control. There's a reason birthrates are declining in virtually all developed countries. When given a real, educated choice, the vast majority of women choose to have fewer children.
Sorry to echo the others here, but I also immediately noped out when you had to register to see even a sample story. I really don't think you're going to hook many people with this model. Let people read the pregen stories openly, and if they're any good, people will happily sign up to make their own custom ones.
No is arguing otherwise.
One paper does not make a "fact". Years of established research and widespread consensus barely justifies labeling a subject as a "fact".
Have you already forgotten the room temperature superconductor claims from last year?
Let me be absolutely clear. I am in no way trying to discredit this paper. I see no reason to question their findings, it's good science and absolutely should be followed up on. However, I take strong exception to people jumping on any half decent study and treating it as gospel.
How is that structurally different from how a human answers a question? We repeat an answer we "know" if possible, assemble something from fragments of knowledge if not, and just make something up from basically nothing if needed. The main difference I see is a small degree of self reflection, the ability to estimate how 'good or bad' the answer likely is, and frankly plenty of humans are terrible at that too.
That she has absolutely no control over. In case you've forgotten, she's the VP, and has no fuctional control in the government besides casting the tiebreaking vote in the Senate.
But do go on shilling for Trump, I'm sure he'd be proud of your obvious disinterest in truth.
