Just tell them that Israel's offers of Palestinian statehood were no different than the current occupation of the west bank. Then blast the waves with witnesses of israeli soldiers being trained by arresting innocent palestinians, or the record growth of settlements. Ask them if if full statehood is possible without the right to defend oneself, given that Palestine wasn't allowed to have an army or manage their own water resources.

We aren't talking about a country in the Global South, which is bombed and then chastised for not having gay rights. We are talking about the communist party of an EU member state. The much simpler explanation here is that whoever wrote and then greenlit that communiqué has brainworms.

Here in Brazil we even have meme parties that are more reactionary than Hitler, but are called something along the lines of Communist Part of the Working Poor or whatever.

kojima only does 'commentary' (hour long exposition cutscenes on kojima's politics and ideas), actual politics would be Socialism

The professor sparked a wave of criticism after she responded to the fact that some military brigades of the Azov Regiment and the 3rd Separate Marine Brigade speak Russian, stating that she cannot "accept" to call such fighters Ukrainians, during an interview with Yanina Sokolova on YouTube channel Rendezvous on Nov. 5.

Good on the students for opposing someone so stupid, though it goes to show that literally fighting on the frontlines is never enough for fascists.

He was likely promised more than the west was ever willing to give. And it's not like they didn't give quite a great deal already. I can imagine ukrainian leadership looking forward to the second collapse of the russian economy, or perhaps even NATO intervention. I can also imagine them being unwilling to call the west's (boris johnson's really) bluff about not offering any security guarantees to an Ukraine that makes peace with Russia. Either way, accepting the loss of Donbass, Crimea and potentially more is politically impossible today, imagine when the war started and the entirety world media crowed about the destruction of the entire Russian army at the hands of Ukrainian super tacticians.

This is not to absolve Zelensky's responsibility. But even political factions in Armenia had to wait a few years before washing their hands from Artsakh and Armenia lost that war incredibly hard.

'rooting for the underdog in a war' is a rather inhuman way of putting it. this isn't a sports game. this is a reaction to a monstrous apartheid regime.
