Corporate culture is based on constant growth and ever increasing profit margins. Eventually they'll amass so much of the wealth that most of the lower class won't be able to purchase anything other than essentials like food.
No new cars, no tech gadgets, no fancy dinners, no vacations, no disposable income.
When we get there the economy collapses because there's no money going into it.
The profits stop rolling in, unnecessary goods stop being produced, and the luxury goods producer's shut down.
At this point the money they worked so hard to hoard becomes worthless because they can't buy anything with it.
What's the endgame for them if their current path takes them to a point where their assets are more or less worthless?

He's just too old for this job.

How old is he?

He's older than Bill Clinton, and Bill Clinton ended his second term in office almost a quarter century ago.

He's older than Ruby Bridges, who was the first black student to attend a white school

He's older than the first commercially available microwave oven.

He's even older than the transistor.

If it were supposed to be pronounced "jif" it would have been spelled that way, I don't give two fucks what Stephen Wilhite said about it either.

There are two things that will lose the election for Democrats if they don't get them under control.

  1. Infighting and arguing over who the candidate should be.
  2. The "All is lost" attitude.

If people don't stop fighting and trying to convince themselves that it's not worth it to go to the polls then this is game over.

I get it, Biden is old and that's a problem, but why doesn't anyone seem to have a problem with the fact that Trump is almost the same age, has 34 felonies, raped at least 2 women, went to Epstein's Island 11 times, sexualized his own daughter, stole classified documents, aligned himself with Xi and Putin, and can't remember common names?

Is all of that really better than being 2½ years older than he is right now?

I fully understand how people become radicalized now.

One way or another, it might be.

If Trump wins, it'll likely be the last election we ever have. Dictator on day one and all...

If he doesn't win, he will have drained the party and it's donors of all of their cash.

He already gets the lions share of it and dumps it into a legal black hole, and now Lara plans to divert what little funding was leftover for the local and congressional races to Trump too.
They're literally all in on him, so can they recover in 2 years for the midterms if he cleans them out?
If they have no cash for the midterms and we get a blue wave, what happens to their gerrymandered districts?
This election might be it for them.

If yelling "Fire!" In a crowded theater is not protected speech then any kind of healthcare misinformation shouldn't be either.
The whole reason you can't yell "Fire!" In a crowded theater is because people could get hurt or killed.
Covid misinformation also gets people killed.
Seems pretty clear to me.

If they're saying "own" on their advertisements then they should be required to refund you when they eventually have to take it away. I'm pretty sure "ownership" has a legal definition and it's probably not too ambiguous.
It should at least be considered false advertising if they can't guarantee access permanently.

A decade ago, It was predicted that we would hit 1.5°C between 2050-2060, and even as recently as 2 years ago the prediction had moved forward to between 2030-2040.
The next decade or two are going to be very... interesting

22 years? Yeah that is disheartening.

There are several states in the South and Midwest that possession of marijuana can land you life in prison. That's potentially a 70 year sentence for a young adult.

Yet these jackasses can attempt to overthrow the US Government and install an unelected dictator and the longest sentence we've seen yet is only 22 fucking years?

Yeah it is disheartening to see the hundreds that got off with house arrest, probation, or even at best landed behind bars for only a year or so.

On Amazon you can get a 24pk of Charmin toilet paper for $37. That's $1.56 per roll.

There are 150 sheets of toilet paper on a roll so that's $0.01⁰⁴ per sheet.

The Russian ruble is at 101.00R to $1.00USD, making it equivalent to $0.00⁹ (9 mil) in USD.

It's now officially cheaper to wipe your ass with Russian money than toilet paper
