ring doorbells are the personal property of gun wielding psychos, a pizza delivery bot's owner generally can't retaliate

Skyclimb was a really fantastic step forward for skyrim se but there's actually something much better. Skyparkour. edition 2 is the latest now. faster, more responsive. it's excellent.

and i'm not exaggerating when i say this mod, or even skyclimb(which i tried out first) are absolutely transformative. the most annoyance i ever had in this fucking game were rockwalls i ought to be aable to get over requiring long trips around. now you can just clamber up. hours-saving shit

I've more or less finished BS: Bruma and I really can't give it anything but a glowing review. It's literally like an extra Major Hold tacked onto Skyrim, way more content than vanilla Falkreath or Morthal.

and they passed the major test: what sets morrowind mod projects (& this one) apart from more 'normal' mods is having a sense of scope. the world-ending major events of the era are happening in the main game. you cannot be changing the fate of the empire in cyrodiil--you kill the emperor and/or decide if a provonce secedes in skyrim. the conclusion to the 'main' quest being a glorified thane-ship is exactly the level of stakes for a county should be.

the writing can be a bit janky at parts, not accounting well for the dialogue trees, but tbh that's bethesda-quality so who can complain.

my biggest critique is this came out 8 years ago and they haven't released more

what's neat is you can get the kinds of apps you need even if they don't ship with the distro, and get rid of the apps you don't want that shipped with it.

i'd look at forums on a given distro about the specific security concerns you have, and decide by which is the most active/helpful. you'll be relying on them a lot.

i think big security heads just use extra programs and special settings, irrespective of distro

when i made the jump (recently) i realized most of the 'beginner advice' and recommendations are very decontextualized. oh you want 'beginner friendly?' you want 'customization'? these are nonsense terms linux users no longer understand.

just get one of them on a thumbdrive and play with it for a few hours. if you like it install it and try doing your normal tasks you use a computer for. the differences between distros aren't going to be meaningful until you know how one of them behaves (and if you don't like that)

that's the most logical interpretation of the sentence but that's very silly so i wasn't sure

it's so funny to me how the "skyrim is easy dumb baby game" crowd has modded it so much they've come back round to making it baby-food. HUDS that display all the resource pools enemies have, their level, etc. widgets that tell you what time it is what every interactable and object does when you have your cursor over it. camera lockons, aimbots for 3rd person, floating damage indicators

yeah you can turn most of these off even with relevant mods installed but it sure doesn't seem like most users tend to.

worst phase of skyrim loadbuilding is cities, there's lots of good options but they're so wildly different and few people have brought their design philosophy to every city. and those that have tend to give the fewest fucks about npc pathing and quest compatibility

the video is about why the rebellion didn't collaborate very much with former confederates in the legends continuity, she and garm bel iblis represent anti-confederate rebels
