I have a second hand surface still running windows that I draw on. With a paper like screen protector I find it quite pleasant. Mines a 6 I think, runs Krita great I imagine it'd be even better if I ditched windows bloat.

Personal anecdote but free base nic 3mg/ml was low enough I quit without withdrawal symptoms. Salt nic, what's in most of the pods, hits harder than standard smokes for me and I had withdrawal symptoms when switching to freebase.

I'm a big proponent of normal/semi obscure normal first name, weird middle name. John W Smith if you work in sales, J Wolfgang Smith if you're an author. Perfect compromise.

Yup, in the office we regularly hire engineers and scientists with a bachelor's, I've never seen anyone even care what tier of bachelor's. Some people go on to get licensed or a master's on the company dime but we also have lots of unlicensed never going back to school people in very technical demanding and high ranking positions.

I'm just a geologist with a bachelor's and am regularly supervising and training people with engineering PhDs. My work place quickly becomes task specific and degrees are worth less than years in the field a lot of the time, your mileage may vary.

I switched to Kobo so I could download library books directly to the reader. Purchases have worked without issue directly from the ereader and the app to echo the other response.

I picked up a 2080 super, ryzen 3600, motherboard, and 32 gigabytes of RAM 1.5 years ago for under $400 used. I already case, PSU, and SSDs so close to your premise.

Engine displacement is measured in liters or cc as standard. Harley Davidson demands in using cubic inches though.

My best friend of 15 years told me, when I had a rough patch, that he's there for me just reach out but unless I initiate he would treat any interaction as just a normal day.

Throughout the rough patch I choose not to speak of it and just treated our hang outs as a chance to get away. He choose to support me in the only way he knew how and the only way he was comfortable with. I was not comfortable and didn't know how to ask for more support. It's about 7 years from then and my parents still don't know, I just don't know how to ask for and engage with emotional support. I am completely weirded out by the concept of talking about my emotions and somebody else caring, it gives me a high level of anxiety.

TLDR: small male friend groups with limited experience providing or receiving emotional support are unlikely to provide explicit emotional support and there's a good chance if you're a man who needs it you don't know how to ask

I'm 60 hours in and haven't touched the outpost, ship building, or equipment modding. Main quest and 2 faction side quests completed. I've enjoyed my time and bought the game with the expectation that it would be FO4 with some things improved some things worse and a new setting.

There are definitely failings and it's not a 10/10 game but for a lot of people it's a great game. The proc gen system needs more variety but that can be improved through updates and mods. If you prefer handcrafted content follow the quests and you'll see minimal repeats of the POIs. I don't regret my purchase one bit and would be fine if no DLC, mods, or updates happen even though I prefer they do. End of the day make your own decision based on what you like just realize it's not a dumpster fire and not the perfect game that everyone should run out and play.

That's how I do my builds, just one rolling bottleneck rather than doing a complete build.

I'm looking to connect my PC in my home office to my living room TV. Right now I'm looking at unpowered usb over cat5/6 and powered HDMI over cat5/6. Both of the adapters say they're good for ~150' and I'd be doing a 40' cable run with pre terminated cat6. Cost of about $70 for adapters and cable on amazon.

I've wired a garage and build my own PCs so I'm not afraid of the install but I have basically no networking experience. I'm aiming to play single player games from my couch and I don't know if something like this is going to be an enjoyable experience or if there is a better way without breaking the bank.

I've got a long haired tortie that scares me. If I take a bath she will try to climb on my chest and play with the water. I don't want to find out what happens if she slips in.

Heavy metals and PCBs are most common in my area, various VOCs aren't far behind. Prior to the EPA and associated legislation companies would commonly use waste process waters for dust control, dump wastes in to pits or on the ground, spills would be left to soak away, and general processes were dirtier and uncontrolled.

One terrible example from western NY that bugs me even more than Love Canal is the involvement with the Manhattan Project. Local steel workers rolled Uranium and they were never told what is was, given any protections, or cared for when the inevitable happened. Radioactive waste was later used as fill for residential and commercial properties in the area. These Hotspot still exist and it is a slow process to get any cleanup done.
