Over half of Palestinians are under 14 and most of them have never seen an Israeli in real life. Abused and mistreated does not begin to cover it. You're the one whose naively trying to moralize this. When you treat people like animals they behave like animals and "mistreatment" to this degree creates very dangerous animals. Whether the individuals concerned deserved it is immaterial, this is the consequences of their governments actions of which they were entirely complicit.

I just played through Persona 5 royal and its so weird because the gay comic relief characters are absolute dogshit but Yusuke is clearly coded as gay and you can't pursue a relationship with him. Its almost like some of the dev staff were a lot cooler than others or things were altered in later development.

The relationship stuff in general is odd. The main character is clearly a college student, he has an apartment over a coffee shop, he goes to bars. Why not just age the characters up a bit, set it in university and make the whole thing way less awkward and creepy

I think its the same energy that drives the people who hate vegans. The knowledge that the vegan is probably right and they don't really have a good counterargument other then its just too big a step for them makes them feel that the vegan must be judging them because they're the kind of person whose super concerned with what everyone else does and thinks
