Brown bears are violently territorial and will attack you for being in eyeshot.
Black bears are basically giant racoons and will move away from people - especially if you're making loud noises and making yourself look big - because they don't want that smoke. They'll only get aggressive if you surprise them or get anywhere near their younglings.
I'd probably take a black bear over a lot of dudes. As long as we got a good hundred feet or so of distance, Mr Bear and I ain't gonna bother each other.

Reading through, it seems it mostly focuses on insulin pens (which are an absolute godsend). I can't help but think that attempting to recycle those is entirely the wrong strategy, and that we should instead focus on reducing diabetes cases in the first place. Losing weight, reducing sat fats, and eating fiber are all correlated with reduction of diabetes risk. I think we need some good old big-government regulation to start penalizing foods that have those things in them. We're all paying the price for them already, time to start making the corporations do it instead.
Posting this seperately: OP, you have a right to feel unsafe. Talk with your other coworkers, then go to managment with a safety plan. You probably can't get this guy fired, but it's completely reasonable to ask for some sort of safeguards, given he's a multiple offender. If you need inspiration, look at the sort of practices medical facilities have: multiple people required to be in the room, clear boundaries being set, agreed-upon followup if rules are broken, etc.

I joke - I haven't used this in a game. It is interesting, though. From what I understand of history, the vast majority of people used a gift economy, barter, and what was essentially a credit system to get what they needed. The idea of the adventurers 'buying' their equipment on credit by owing the blacksmith a portion of loot later does raise some ideas.
Also tally sticks are where we get the phrase 'stock holder'; the one who loaned the goods kept the larger end of the split tally, which was called the stock.
