Sweet/Vidalia onions? I noticed that, too, especially with the bagged ones.

As much as I'd like to see big tech die, and bazinga billionaires to lose money, I'm afraid of what a market crash would do to regular people. Lots of pension funds and retirement savings are tied up in the stock market.

The very rich always find a way to come out of market turmoil with a larger share of the wealth, even if the total wealth is smaller. That'll be another opportunity to do layoffs to "discipline the labor market" and jack up prices, and the working class will once again pay the price for the hubris of the rich.

The online market for swag with stuff printed on it is massively oversaturated right now. The get rich quick grift economy has moved from drop shipping electronics to drop shipped printing.

There are a bunch of online print shops that will take an image file, print it, and ship it to a customer for you. There are also data services that scrape Etsy, eBay, etc, then sell sales data to other sellers. So even if you make a unique design that sells, competitors will steal them and be selling them for less almost immediately.

If you go the VPN route make sure you do a leak test(https://ipleak.net/) before you start downloading stuff. If you pass those tests you're safe.

You can definitely get PSX games from torrent sites, I just checked 1337.to and they've got a ton.

Real-debrid is cheaper and easier to setup safely for a beginner. It's basically just a service that downloads torrents(and those weird paid download sites like nitro upload) for you. You submit the torrent file or magnet link to their website and it gives you a direct download link. Since you aren't sharing pirated files with anyone, there's no chance of getting copyright warnings. There are also a bunch of streaming apps(stremio is the best) that work with real-debrid to give you a Netflix like experience for pirated movies/TV with little effort.

Any fitgirl repack of a switch game comes with a fully configured version of yuzu. You could download one of those(Google fitgirl repacks, it's the first site), and remove the system files.

Or go here:

Americans love personal freedom but think it's wrong to choose to stop eating.

That's exactly what the shopkeepers privilege is, an immunity to false arrest claims when they have suspicion you've stolen something.

The two cases I found, the judges decided that refusing to show the receipt was enough to provide that suspicion

For my Honda Accord you needed to buy a dealer installed addon(called home link IIRC) to get the garage door buttons.

Home Assistant works pretty well with Android Auto. If I had a garage door I'd connect it to HA with esphome and access it that way.

I'm using amcrest cameras with frigate. They work offline, but their doorbell cameras are wireless only, IIRC.

Frigate records and does object detection, so you can get notifications(with photos in the notification) only when there is a certain object in a certain area(like only people in one area, cars and people in another, cats in a third area).

It's a cheap setup if you already have a server running 24/7. It takes quite a bit of setup, but has been trouble free since.

Hobby centers where all of the gear you would need to get started on various hobbies are available for anyone to use on site. Like a library loaded with tools, CNC machines, stuff for knitting, high end computers, art supplies, musical instruments and recording gear, etc. I would limit the ability to take things off-site only to people who cannot visit in person for medical reasons.

The goal is building community and encouraging creating things for fun. It would also promote innovation, art and music, etc, but that would never be the goal, just a nice side effect.
