Here in the UK we just pretend it's not a problem by calling it a lifestyle choice.

Backwards thinking.

Andrew Tate isn't creating these young men out of well adjusted people.

Young men today face a mountain of issues with zero sympathy from the people or institutions around them. And grifters prey on these men.

Having grown up in the "teach boys not to rape" era of progrssive rhetoric, it's actually insane to see all these people just insist being in a guy's world is all sunshine and rainbows and all these men are just awful people falling of their own accord.

Young men get told some pretty damaging things growing up, even from progressive people.

Everyone has problems, lots of people are coming of age all kinds of fucked up, and we can't fix this by implying it's all their own doing.

He's the one who likes

All our pretty songs and he

Likes to sing along and he

Likes to shoot his gun but he

Don't know what it means

Isn't it convenient how every time the US or Israel bombs civilians they automatically know they we're secretly terrorists the whole time?

Doesn't help that sex keeps being written into shows where it doesn't belong.

It's trying to make a show "more adult" in literally the most childish way possible.

That Halo show is a good example of completely needless sex scenes.

A lot of Christians have a pretty vague understanding of the bible, or the religion as a whole, usually jusy what will let them justify whatever they need to be justified.

This should be expected, to be fair, since Christianity is a cultural inheritance. You're not expected to know much about it other than what your priest tells you, if the Christian even goes to church to begin with.

Yeah, in general. Cars are not allowed to drive on sidewalks under most if not all circumstances. The point is that e-scooters have their restrictions for a reason, regardless of any whataboutism relating to cars. We want walkable cites, not e-scootable.

No clue what that street sigh means, but I guess it's supposed to signify a shared space?

One of these share footpaths with pedestrians. The other two have to use their own dedicated pathways.

Americans always seem to think that there is some kind of pan-ethinc bond between people in completely different counties, as if we weren't all killing each other until that whole "world wars" thing.

Our government can't pay doctors, but it can give away trillions to private corporations and constantly raise the pay of politicians.

Ideologically, de-federating an instance just because you don't like the guy running it would be a bad thing, but Facebook/Meta has been just so toxic to the internet as a whole it's hard to really find fault with it.
