The EU should take note.
I've been keeping up with the small sneak attacks as best I can. Grit and gumption are powerful tools.

I knew when tangerine tyrant went to the Sahel, it was for nefarious purposes.
Today, my soul smiles. This is incredibly auspicious news for the Columbian people.
Does US executive branch thinks the absence of a BRICS currency will halt or slow the decline of the USD, or that the establishment of a common currency speedrun it? I'm guessing the horrific deficit is doing that on its own, and am looking for missed interest payments in the immediate future. Probably hyperinflation as well?

How covert is it if it's on CNN?
I think the USA is pushing for cashless society partly because both parties see the USD losing hegemony, and it is more surveillable, and a bit of insulation to the power structure. The structure will collapse, of course, but all the billionaires will safely be on their private islands, by then, leaving the masses to sort/fight it out amongst themselves.
We seem to have to repeat this lesson every 80 years or so. When we've learned it well enough so we stay vigilant, even the fifth generation, maybe we'll crush the head of the snake, rather than beat it back.
