When Monday-me tries to remember what Friday-me did

Finally! Someone with the courage to adapt the NES classic The Goonies II to the big screen. What a time to be alive!

Wow, feels so spiteful. It's them not you.

To be charitable to the other side, perhaps this mod is so burned out on "just asking questions" that a sincere question has become hard to recognize 🤷‍♀️

...all estimates to date project that the series will debut on Paramount+ sometime in 2026. In the meantime, the show has already been renewed for a second season of production.

Glad they believe in it enough to want a second season.

Now I wait until 2026 to see Parrises squares onscreen at last 🙏

Give them Andor instead of Ahsoka; they need to make more content that speaks to the universal human condition and less about the cool worlds and characters they've got. The people want Squid Game and Severance, not another cinematic universe.

Children, we ride for stovokor

Ya that episode is great. It lurked in the back of my mind every episode afterward, always hoping to hear any sort of throwaway line about the fate of that ship.

It’s very unsatisfying.

An empire overflowing with ambitious and unscrupulous climbers who have all decided to allow young Georgiou to have the crown.

Ya let’s make the unhinged evil empire very civil and obedient so our protagonist actually back into the throne instead of actively seizing it. How convenient.

Ultimately it feels like they want to have their cake and eat it too: Georgiou is the baddest bitch, but also she was just trying to survive man! She cried when she murdered her own family, under coercion and duress!

I guess I liked her better when she was bonafide evil.

Admiral Vance:

"It's made of our shit, you know?"

Q: Look at me when I'm eating off you Picard.

But to your point, are there any fandoms (besides the church) that are still going strong with commemorative plates? Maybe they are just old fashioned.

S4 when he fights Shran with such confidence and gamesmanship, that's my favorite Archer.

Yes! They are so fallible, and believably so most the time, that I really appreciated their missteps.

The only time I didn't appreciate thinking was when it decontamination time. I just pretend it is like watching an old b/w show with an embedded detergent ad: an unfortunate relic of its time that is just baked into it.
