I feel like the 2010s are the first decade in 100 years that doesn't have a recognizable aesthetic or vibe.
Every decade since the Roaring Twenties had its own recognizable culture, visual aesthetic, music and so on. In the 2010s, the Internet allowed us to become cultural omnivores. It's good that everybody had access to whatever niche subculture they enjoy but it also meant that there was no more monoculture that we all shared.
The ruling class (and bootlickers) tripping over their dick to defend this is almost more pathetic than the salute itself

We are living in the end times, any leftist platform that has more than 10k followers and isn't using it to do the bare minimum of organizing is

There aren't gonna be presidential elections in 2028, I'm calling it now.
He will say that the elections are too expensive and that he will save 100 billion dollars of taxpayer money by not having elections. Instead of the elections, he will make a poll on Truth Social where 100% of users will choose him over Gruesome Newsome. NYT will run a headline about how great and cost-effective this is. Libs will post epic clapbacks on twitter.
However, the USA is a Travis Bickle factory so there is still hope that we will see a very funny headline by that time
