I have a US made Wahl trimmer as well and love it.

Was the replacement also US made? I'm considering sharpening the blades on mine instead of purchasing a new one since I'm worried about the quality of the replacement.

Might be using App Manager from FDroid, but I'm not sure. I have App Manager, but I don't have root on my phone. So it might have the ability to block trackers, but I can't tell for sure.
