What's the best resource, strategy, or tip you suggest for becoming an effective deprogrammer?

I am notorious for feeling the existential tug in the month leading up to my birthday, so I feel you. Do something that you don't get to do that often that will make you happy, go to your favourite restaurant (or cook your favourite food), walk in your favourite place. Try not to be internal and indoors on this day, try to do something that celebrates even if it's in a small way.

After all, you were born x amount of years today and that's joyous. I won't say you're loved (by the people here) because when people say that to me, it comes across a bit hollow. But by virtue of you being the type of person who chooses to spend their time in leftist spaces, I sincerely hope you find a way to have a joyous, happy birthday. Maybe that is love.

Let's also not rule out that they still wouldn't have arrested him.

It is really hard to meet people as an adult. Have you considered Meetup groups or something similar? If it's a hobby group, then at least when you go, you have a thing to talk about that's built in. That might be more promising than your current frustrating experience.

I'm playing through still and am disappointed to read other comments that it stays as lib as it comes across. I was holding out hope because there are elements of it that feel so close.

It's still worth playing though, it's a good JRPG experience if you're a Persona fan, although I don't think it's as mechanically intricate as Persona.

56% wanting to be astronauts in China vs. only 11% in the US is pretty different, but I think his point is that when you look at those who aspire to be YouTubers it's 30% in the US vs. 18% in China, which is not the grand cultural difference OP is making it out to be.

you aren't building character by playing elden ring no matter how good you are or how much you fail and try again.

A certain type of person needs to keep perpetuating this myth because video games are the only things they spend their time on and they need to convince themselves that they aren't just wasting that time.

Anything interesting leak?

No, I'll just support this rule, thanks.

Like I said, dunking is fine in moderation, but to quote someone else in the thread, I don't need to see every bad take on the internet.

Yes, YTA. The dude deserved it but I'd never voice that to a family member for no reason. And no, you later discovering that he made it up doesn't change anything, you're still the asshole because you had no clue they made it up at the time.
