One thing many people may not realize is that China is largely automating its factories and making its workers more skilled. People read "made in China" and assume it's from sweatshops, but it's more likely robots now. That's why I don't think people should feel bad buying from aliexpress or temu.

Why isn’t communism the answer? What kind of answer do you have? Anything but agreeing with a “tankie.” I don’t expect you to respond seriously, so you even take yourself seriously?

It’s projection. There actually is people spying on them (google, Instagram, etc), but instead of recognizing and fighting that their energy is directed into fighting a made up enemy. Same with all the reactionary fears. They’re real problems that the left has failed to openly address, so money can back a fantasy version that still makes them feel vindicated.

Germany’s a wanna be settler colonial country, fortunately they failed in WWII. In general they’re just floundering imperialists like the rest of the west.

True, but an alternate history is more realistic than another revolution now. Obviously there could be a revolutionary situation eventually, idk what the future looks like for them.

Dictatorship is when you don’t copy our great form of government. Because it’s totally democratic when the most powerful man in the world is elected by un-proportional electors that we’re not themselves elected.

Every time anyone calls you out on anything

There’s nothing to call him out on. All that you dronie losers say is “how dare you say a country that I don’t like is good with sources, you’re not allowed to do that!”

Lol, Joe Biden, climate hero.

Ironic considering how he’s the most vocal Zionist on the campaign trail. Not so different after all. It’s sickening some “leftists” and even “Marxists” support this guy.

The classic one is probably good for a well rounded revolutionary, but it’s kind of long for a beginner, and there’s also newer theory that’s not included, but is necessary for understanding todays material conditions. It feels weird sending baby leftists a long list of old dense texts. I’ve been sending people Principles of Communism, five essays on Philosophy, Blackshirts and the Reds, and the Red Deal. Is this a good idea? I feel like it’s important to inform modern MLs of socialist history, and also I should probably add some works on imperialism. Any thoughts?

Are there any works that it’s best to read before one reads Capital volume one, or can one just jump into Capital? I know there’s a standard ml reading list/study plan, but is there a specific order stuff should be read in? (Not that I haven’t read anything else, asking for someone else partially)
