Manjaro here. It's essentially Arch with a pleasant installer, reasonable defaults, and a nice desktop theme. I recently had to switch from the KDE build to the Gnome build because KDE does NOT seem to get along with Nvidia GPU drivers right now. Now it's butter. Use Lutris to manage your windows games in their own little sandboxes, 9/10 games you'd swear they're native software. Some actually run better under linux than under Windows 11. Cities Skylines 2 was the most dramatic example. Like 20 extra fps.
There are effectively zero commercial VPN services that will permit P2P traffic on their free servers, because they would be instantly swamped if they did. The few that do permit it for free, you have to ask yourself how they're paying for that bandwidth.
"lets you" Was forced to let you, never forget it.
It's better than Half Life: Alyx.
No one can tell me I'm wrong, because no one who posts here can afford to play Half Life: Alyx, including me.
On Android I highly recommend Retro Music, it's free and open source, available on the FDroid store. It's fast, has a great interface, and supports ~gapless flac playback~
As always, deeply grateful to live in a place powered by combustion-free power plants.
I pray for every person in Gaza that they survive the night.
Disgusting. Not just brutality or disregard, but intentional cruelty and humiliation. How can they not expect the Palestinians to fight back? How can they play the victim when they inevitably do, time and again? It's the arrogance that never ceases to shock me.
I'm so excited to listen to this, she's the best.
I do hope that changes soon.
