I'm always surprised by the new forms of brain worms that keep growing everytime I visit my family or meet an old acquaintance. I expect them, but still get surprised. When I became a leftist I thought I had this powerful new weapon to finally get through to family - but they stumble across some new absurdity that comes out of left field. My whole life I've wondered if this is an American thing, or just a people (in our present era) thing. The latest shit is about all the storms being the government's doing to influence the elections... which I don't understand.

I'd say that in times like these it's good to take a break from any social media or even the internet in general. And if you can, definitely away from pro-Zionist people in your life - but I don't know your situation so I don't know how possible that is. If you are online you can find some good spaces where resistance news is being reported and see that the resistance is alive continuing.

Like others have said here, engaging with mainstream sites and people is just exposing yourself to hitler particles. It's pretty much self-harm. Avoiding it can be easier said than done, though, so I'm sorry if I'm sounding presumptuous.
