If chemical weapons had been used at meaningful scales, it would have been known by now.

I think it's safe to say that these biological/chemical labs are big nothing burgers -- just small labs that were paid for by the US to keep experts employed so that they didn't wander off and sell their skills to people that might make use of them after the collapse of the USSR.

Going with the US state department line on this one, unironically.

No. What part of it is good in your opinion?

I come to these discussions in good faith, because I want to believe that some people are not here to spew propaganda and maybe are just bad with statistics..

Obviously if you do legitimately wish to have discussions in good faith, it would be a good idea not to immediately accuse people of being propagandized. In per capita terms, China still produces far less CO2 than other developed nations despite also manufacturing a large amount of the goods those developed nations use.

What is an acceptable death toll for you? Because China seems to have a very high tolerance. Does the end goal justify the means?

For one, I think your death toll for the construction of the three gorges dam is probably out by a couple of magnitudes. Does the end goal justify the means? Almost certainly. China has just compressed an entire 200 years of bloody industrialization (which it has been for every country) into 20 years. There are no countries on Earth that industrialized without vast quantities of blood spilled.

You can't get away with this high percentage of death in democratic countries from your examples, where the electorate has more power to say "no thanks".

Do you really think people in western countries often vote for national governments one way or another because of their opinions on workplace health and safety? There aren't many countries where the electorate of a workplace can democratically vote to change their boss if they think it's too dangerous. Again, if you want to have legit good faith discussions, it's not a good idea to suggest that China isn't democratic simply because it doesn't conform to a particular template of democracy that you subscribe to. Many people would say that China is in fact more democratic than the west.

You run a small batch of test product through with the balls in, then dump that product. They're used to calibrate metal detectors at the very end of the production line for detecting things like shavings metal coming off the machinery. It's likely that the batch wasn't dumped immediately, and was left unsupervised - so someone came along and packaged it because it wasn't in a container that was well marked as a test sample to be disposed of.

Food production safety can often be horrendously lax, because virtually all staff will skip or ignore parts of the production plan, either intentionally or unintentionally. Worse still, I've seen managers specifically write food safety plans that are designed to be cheated, for example, ensuring that a specific test sample is treated as it should be to meet all of the paperwork requirements, while all the food that will actually be eaten is handled at much lower standards.

The article wasn't an issue. Trying to fight reaction with reaction is.

Americans can call the sky green as much as they want. In the rest of the world, Liberalism = Liberalism, not "democrat".

Liberals are people that believe in liberalism, which can be summed up as "everyone has the individual right to be an asshole, even if it fucks everyone else over".

A couple of people drifting by reply to you and you consider it “brigading"? Aren't you a delicate creature.

You acknowledge that people have a right to defend themselves, and be supplied weapons to that effect. Your usage of "propped up" also suggests you acknowledge that there were legitimate separatist sentiments in Ukraine in 2014. Why do your principles of armed self determination break down when applied to Donbas? Seems that "tankie" is your word for "someone that believes in self determination".

When did that happen tankie?

Minsk 2, proposed by Russia, outlines that control of the border should be restored to Ukraine, and that Donbas should be reintegrated democratically back into Ukraine with a level of federalization to protect it from future lapses in Ukrainian democracy.
