I personally think it's not a big deal as long as you could easily move your accounts settings from one account to another.
If anything bad happens to the main instance people will just move elsewhere IMO.

They remembered their old moto for a split second.
Jesse McCree ?
It's not like it was only managers that were dirty.
Surely there was a management enabling it but it seemed widespread at Blizzard.
Now for the 99% others that lost their job for no reasons. That's another story.
Also this conveniently doesn't show white color background.
It's a strategic nap. He will zoom around the field in a few ~~minutes~~ hours.

I don't really want to start a debate on the Signal SMS dropout but ...
They could have put a big red warning and a disclaimer you have to read once for the unsecured SMS. It would have been fine.
Yes, you would have to maintain that but I think it would definitely have been worth it considering how much reach they lost dropping this feature.
I stopped using Signal when they did, and that's one less tech user advertising their secure app.
It's a shame because I think this will slowly kill the project.
I remember vividly the day I got a Nintendo 64 when I was a kid. I also had pizza that day.
It was a good day.
With the constant stream of news I would suppose it's handy to have some virtual anchor available 24/24 and that you can start in a matter of minutes.
It's cynical of course but I kind of get the idea.
