It's true that Nazi Germany, Italy, and friends had colonization projects in Africa, but people didn't create a new word about it because that's generally understood for what it is. Literally prayers. The "under God" part of the pledge was added during the cold war to distinguish the god-fearing American patriots from the godless Soviet commies.

Lawyers argue that it's not religious because it doesn't specify the Christian god, so you can pretend you're praying to a different god while saying it. Or to the abstract concept of god or something? Idk I got chewed out for sitting through it in school

Well we can both type out narcissist, but not the r word and that says enough on its own. I don't think people are referring to NPD or even psychiatry in general when they say narcissist though I see what you mean. I dunno what word could replace it though... braggart? Egoist? Uh... Selfist?
