That's not even a lemmygrad user. Regardless, I think the point is that the people in power are Nazis. Not the general populace. Ukraine is tearing down victory monuments for Christ's sakes. When Georgia starts doing that, I'll definitely be sympathetic to calling their government Nazis.

I very rarely click on video links. But I watched this one. It's honestly not that earth shattering IMO. Russia has nearly encircled a fairly large area where there may or not be a sizeable chunk of UAF.

I do think that the end of the war is fast approaching, and we'll see some real change this winter. But this isn't it. This is a tactical victory, not a strategic one.

The news today is saying it was about 200m away and he was using "an AR style" rifle. Definitely a difficult shot, but if he was using an AR-15, that alone made this a really dumb move. He should have brought a full sized rifle, and aimed for centre of mass. Effective range of 5.56 is about 550m. A full sized rifle would be at least 50% more.

But why do all that when you can eliminate melanin instead?

I know you said you aren't interested in historical content, but I would like to recommend "The Human Face of Russia", which was a documentary produced by the BBC in 1984. They travel throughout the Soviet Union and speak to people about their daily lives in the context of a communist society. It's easily found on YouTube.

And is it supposed that the wandering savage has a stronger attachment to his home than the settled, civilized Christian? Is it more afflicting to him to leave the graves of his fathers than it is to our brothers and children? Rightly considered, the policy of the General Government toward the red man is not only liberal, but generous. He is unwilling to submit to the laws of the States and mingle with their population. To save him from this alternative, or perhaps utter annihilation, the General Government kindly offers him a new home, and proposes to pay the whole expense of his removal and settlement.

Western media in general are just 5 capitalists in a trenchcoat (Disney bought Fox).

Something tells me that one of his friends entered his number as a joke. Still kinda funny.

I had considered that, but I find it weird that Germany's numbers seem to add to 100% (can't be bothered to do the math).

Now you see, THIS is whataboutism. The point here is that we have a leader in the current Ukrainian government who comes out and says that he considers Russians to be subhuman. You come up with a baseless claim that we think all Ukrainians are nazis. We think that the current government of Ukraine is dangerously far right and descended from actual nazi collaborators. You don't want to hear it because it doesn't fit your world view.

You might also be interested that I translated it using AI. Results weren't great, but language used around the 26 second mark matches the translation in the tweet pretty well. You can do this yourself instead of just calling it fake and lashing out at the left.

I think this is my favourite comment in this thread. The clear logical fallacy of it without a shred of self reflection legitimately made me laugh for minutes. Well done.

Have you forgotten that the US is still actively blockading Cuba? It's not about the US' lack of empathy. It's the simple fact that they actively blocked them from obtaining life saving equipment.
