I'm not the one being combative here. You're attitude is pretty condescending and alienating. Are you okay?

Oh yeah, I totally support the local copy. That will save you in times up hardware failure or fuck ups. I could just never keep up with the maintenance and kind of gave up making automatic backups and syncing. But reorganizing often translates to integrating deletions into rsync or whatever syncing protocol you use, and that has caused me headaches and heartaches.

There's a bit of a difference though between those computer driven iterative digital numerical methods and an analog continuous geometric object. It's like comparing pixel density and film grain. At a fine enough precision they become difficult to distinguish, but they are not the same. You could definitely use iterative methods to build a "continuous" solver at an arbitrary precision. We pretty much have to do it that way for any signficantly complex function.

Sorry, this comment got away from me and feels kind of incoherent now. I'm just trying to say that analog and iterative digital methods have subtle differences that one should remain aware of.

I meant bland as an antonym for spicy, not a synonym for bad.

Does it really? The whole group of main characters is a bunch of stereotypes, over the top affectations, and worn out tropes. This shows the group explicitly accepting Lamar for who they are and celebrating their accomplishments with a level of physical contact and intimacy that literally was making homophobes at the time cringe.

New words are still real words, even if you can't find it in an internet search. Don't lie to me and tell me you didn't immediately understand that word without needing the definition (because it's just such a damn near universal feeling, not every concept has a word YET in English, wild I know). That immediate reaction to a group of letters seems more real to me than your research skills. Words are more than artefacts to dig up and analyze. A fucking wild amount of our English language is informed by some playwright(s?) just making up words and phrases. Words are magic and this is a hill I will die on.

Yes, and you'd open that flap downwards I presume because it's generally safer to let gravity pull your vinyl out of the sleeve than reaching your dirty hands in there to distort the package and dirty up the vinyl.

I mean come on. Are you fucking with me? Wikipedia, Musicbrainz.org, Discord, and allmusic.com all have the mountain at the bottom.

Is posting upside-down album covers a new meme? I fully embrace making it one.

You know what's also good "built in AV"? Good design with code that's open to review. There's not nearly as much performance cost to good security if you start from a good foundation. Saying windows is slower because it's doing more security and more anti-virus is like saying I only run slow because I trip over my own feet. Like, no shit, but that's no excuse.

And singing the praises of updates and rollback systems that are like a decade behind everything else and still a consistent pain point for users is a little bit of weird fanboyism too.

Have you tried or already had trouble using plexamp with downloaded content so that you can keep a local copy of some subset of your music library on your device? I only ask because I've used plexamp without issue for streaming, but haven't really felt a need to do the local sync yet for music, just Movies and TV through the regular Plex app.
