It's a lot easier to setup and get non-techy family to join. Setting up Jellyfin is easy until you want access outside your LAN. Setting up TLS or a VPN is a hassle I don't want unless there is no other option. Plex has features I (and my family) use that jellyfin doesn't support by default yet. Last I checked syncing of files for offline viewing in the official app wasn't very good yet. Plex has a bunch of ad supported live streams baked in that aren't too bad. There is a "How It's Made" channel, a Mythbusters channel, and Top Gear channel. PlexAmp isn't perfect, but it's better than any of the Jellyfin options I've seen.

Thanks, although I was able to infer some of the significance from the name, I was confused about how kids were actually dying because something like this has been around for a long time. At least 30 years ago kids this age were making themselves blackout by holding their hands tightly against their necks. Even then, before the age of always on internet, most of the other kids rightly called those kids out as idiots. Adding mechanical devices is just next level evil? Next Level Stupid? I don't know. I guess that's what the lawsuit is trying to determine. I can guarantee that it will be used to further erode our privacy rights online as more and more kinds sites are forced to verify their users with government issued identification.

Glad I'm not the only one that noticed the odd bench. But I have another theory. It looks like a rotating device of some kind for the seat so that if the bench is wet from rain or covered in snow, one can rotate it to a dry side for a dry seat. I doubt the homeless, even the poor or lower classes, would have been allowed anywhere near such a garden as this anyway unless they were serving someone.

Watership Down by Richard Adams deserves a mention I think. It's not exactly a series, but it did get a sequel. Richard Adams also wrote The Plague Dogs and Shardik. Shardik doesn't actually take the POV of the animals, but Lord Shardik is a mythical bear that is kind of a main character. I haven't read The Plague Dogs yet, and only learned about it while checking my spellings for this comment, but everything else.by Adams that I've read has been amazing.
