I think everyones misunderstanding my post. This is specifically in relation to a LIMITED regional exchange between India and Pakistan. If theres a global exchange of nukes its entirely different. People dont seem to realize even JUST India and Pakistan doing this and nobody else launching would cause a worldwide famine within weeks.

Well i imagine the used market prices will go up too it wont be immune to tariffs. Since the supply is limited, and everyone needs clothes. If people cant find them new theyll all go used, and people like me that were already buying used and wearing stuff til it fell apart will be pushed out of even that.

So i wanna actually bring up something about this other than the obvious like it being morally wrong thing.

Colleges in America are failing at a higher and higher rate. Like a lot of them barely make ends meet cuz theyre so inefficient. These international students are cash cows for them cuz they overcharge and now less are going to be applying because of this stuff.

Next few years we may see colleges start to go under en masse. If you are currently in school look up your schools finances and make sure its not struggling. You dont wanna be half way done with a degree when your school goes under. Get copies of all your documents and transcripts now.

Actually it should be China on the moon soon. Theyve announded plans for a permanent lunar base. Theyre sending up scouting missions to find water and will be sending a experimental unit that uses lunar dust to print structures. This info came from a mechanical engineer i know in China. Its been added to the parties official list of plans and he said they only do that when they are very confident it will get done.

The company defenders are dumb yeah. I don't really understand though why this is whats making people freak out. Like i wasnt gonna be able to afford a switch 2 regardless lol. Housing prices, food prices, etc are insane. Even if it was 300$ i wouldn't be buying one until maybe 3 years after it came out. I never bought a switch and got a switch lite for like 150$ a couple years ago.

I guess maybe im just used to not having many treats and pirating tons of stuff? Like i pirate all my media and never understood why people pay for streaming services. The few times ive used one the experience sucks. Like it doesnt have most shows. My pirate sites have all the shows easily searchable lol.

Edit: I made a bit of an effort post on lemmygrad about adblocking and being a pirate after posting this. If you want a how to on that stuff then check it out.

I think theyre gonna pivot to PMC model to allow the military of the US to operate in areas as mercenaries without it being a "war".

US companies could hire PMCs to go secure regions for them and the US govt can be like "Those are private entities that has nothing to do with us"

I feel like this issue arises a lot more frequently then it should. Didnt Tumblr have similar problems years ago? How do major social media sites keep "accidentally" having almost 0 guardrails in place for nude content. Almost as if they dont want to fix the problem.
