Spend money on useless technology ✅

Spend the money that you will end up spending on useless technology on actually solving the problem ❌

The western chip monopoly is so cooked once China gets their process finely tuned in a few years. Loongson's first generation LoongArch chips can already compete with Intel's 11th and 12th generation offerings when the Intel chips are restricted to their respective base clock speeds (the LoongArch chips can't boost at the moment).

They're in the process of moving away from Intel/AMD chips in all government machines now that their domestic alternatives (namely LoongArch) have gotten to a state where they're good enough for most day to day tasks. I give it some time, but I wouldn't doubt them requiring a similar move away from these chips in extremely crucial settings like this.

Was his death ever confirmed? I saw people saying he died but I never saw like an actual confirmation if it was true or not.

Meh, it's just Firefox with a config applied out of the box and some new branding. They don't really patch anything of importance out of Firefox, pretty much all of their patches are just changes for their branding/styling.

You can find the config that comes out of the box here: https://codeberg.org/librewolf/settings/src/branch/master/librewolf.cfg which appears to just be https://github.com/arkenfox/user.js/blob/master/user.js with a couple of extra things added like Brave's query stripping list.

Holy shit, that's why it sounded like that. You could probably shoot at this thing with a BB gun and sink it data-laughing

You're going to be waiting quite a while for a "Linux native CPU", whatever you mean by this. RISC-V is still a long way out from being desktop ready, but progress is slowly happening.
