I'm sure this dude has something to say, but what type of video essay can you do on a characters plotline that hasn't concluded? Like there's stuff you can say but you can't really examine 'the dark tragedy' of a character without knowing their full arc, right? What happens if it turns out not to be a dark tragedy or some new twist completely reframes the character up until then

Playing GTA IV as my main title at the moment. Really appreciate how down to earth it is in comparison to the next game.

Other than that I'm also playing Orna on my phone when I'm out for a walk. GPS game based on classic RPG mechanics of grinding out monsters n' shit. Petty good time.

Bit of a late response, but one thing to keep in mind is that this game has customizable difficulty. That is, you can tune individual gameplay elements like economy pricing, crafting requirements, etc. to your needs. So if you bump into anything particularly grindy, just switch it off. This is useful when it comes to tracking down a portal and powering it up with the needed materials to travel, as that can be an incredibly grindy process.

I haven't played No Man's Sky in yonks, but this seems as good excuse as any to boot it up on my Steam Deck later tonight and get to building a base.

I already fly around on a massive freighter base called The Marx. Feels like this is a good place in the simulated cosmos for me to me. Thanks for the cross post, comrade

If you're part of the global south, there's a decent chance NATO opposes you or someone you're closely affiliated with. Is your suggestion to those countries for them to just not be part of the global south?

Because that's incredibly hard to do.

I ordered my Steam Deck through Dick Smith (Kogan.) I have no complaints. I had to use the warranty about two weeks after I received it due to bad pixels. I had a new Steam Deck within a week. They won't repair it because they can't, only replace it. Good enough for me.

Apart from the price we have a pretty good deal - our warranty covers a lot more defects that Valve themselves won't.

Umm accelerationism?? Don't you know that's dangerous and hateful

Back in the day I used to waste time after school making levels in hammer or the creation kit, but otherwise the most modding I can do is like, swapping textures and stuff.

Now installing mods is my weakness. Can't get enough of that.

Yup, and in the re-release for the gamecube, you could pop the chao in your copy of Sonic Advance 1/2 or the GBA to emulate the effect.

blessed image, i loved raising chao, but i never had access to online guides as a kid so i never bred the rare ones. hell i never really saw a chao die to begin with to know they reincarnated

also, just to be a dick, my sister told me they were pronounced "k-o" and not "chow," so I spent a lot of my childhood being confidently wrong
