I've said it before and I'll say it again 100 times until people here finally get it, its very easy to be fooled based on the kind of morality we are taught in schools that Ukraine are the good guys in this war. "The country being invaded are the bad guys" is incredibly counter intuitive. It took me awhile to really wrap my head around it tbh.
And people see those symbols you mention as just being symbols of Ukraine, not naziism. People dont get these things man. Its enormously easy to fall into the wrong side on the Ukraine war. I still struggle with self doubt that I'm on the right side of the issue because frankly, it doesnt make intuitive sense. (and dont try to lecture me here lol, I know the talking points and agree with them, I'm trying to explain why we're always fighting against the grain on this point. It just doesnt make sense to people).
No progress would be made there because they are aware of and hate all of NATO's war crimes and evil acts. Like they literally already think they're bad. Problem is they believe strongly in self determination for ethnic groups. Like its an almost Maoist pro-natlib position on Ukraine, just with the added "NATO is a necessary evil to be a bulwark against Russia".
