http://kcna.kp/en/article/q/fb10dbcf3834fce14f199cd9469822d1.kcmsf

This is the article posted by DPRK. It has 6 photos of Kim inspecting a tank. KCNA.kp is an official website hosted in DPRK. The website posts new articles usually at 6-7 PM Eastern Time Zone.

I check it almost every day and post when they are interesting to me, which I guess is sort of arbitrary.

Thought this photo was pretty neat. It shows all the builders of their new warship standing beside it, to show the size.

http://kcna.kp/en/article/q/4d748e6942ec6d3f92dde50df616ad6e.kcmsf

This article shows photos of testing the new missile system on their massive new warship.

Another interesting this is that the KCNA website actually runs on RedStarOS. If you inspect the website's HTTP header in your browser, it tells you that kcna.kp runs on "Server: Apache/2.4.25 (RedStar4.0) OpenSSL/1.0.1e-fips PHP/5.6.2".

From the interview with Jonathan and Mark

  • Mark says that maps are expected to be 30% more rewarding.
  • They talk about a dynamic between "large maps" and "small maps", saying players should learn to utilize map size for rewards.
  • Mark mentions fixing the levers of Augury.
  • They don't plan to increase waystone drop rate.
  • Mark wants to add improvements to Expedition crafting system.
  • Jonathan confirms that the corpse tower/citadel conspiracy theory is not real. Everyone laughs about this.
  • Jonathan says citadels only spawn at a certain base distance from the starting location on the atlas
  • The devs says that they are surprised that players were able to make builds with such high damage. Weird thing to be surprised by.
  • Jonathan says that they have no plans to nerf player builds without a game economy reset. Mark says player builds may be nerfed if they affect server performance, example if your build reduces the server to 1 fps.
  • Jonathan confirms that Early Access will have Leagues, ie Seasons.
  • There were rumors that Path of Exile servers were hacked. Jonathan says that an administrator account on the Path of Exile website was found to be compromised through the Steam api. Jonathan says that 66 player accounts are suspected to have been compromised by the hack. There will be more information later, but he says there was no larger data breach.
  • Jonathan and Mark say that they do not want to decrease the power of the Item Rarity stat. They confirm that Item Rarity increases the tier of currency items in POE 2, while in POE 1 Item rarity only increased the chance to find rare or unique gear items. This makes Item Rarity a much more powerful stat in POE 2.
  • There's talks about buffs to the warrior class, but it is unclear to me.
  • Jonathan mentions the possibility of reducing the number of monsters in the Breach mechanic in the future. They also mentioned improving the spawn rate of Greater Essences.
  • Jonathan does not want to remove the 1 death per map limit. He says that 6 portal defense is too forgiving to players.
  • They talk about increasing the difficulty of Pinnacle Bosses.
  • "Map tab soon"
  • Predictive mode will be available in the game settings later. The game currently operates in Lockstep mode.
  • Spectre minion is being worked on and introduced soon.
  • Search bar being added to the Atlas.
  • They don't want rare monsters to have glow.
  • Salvaging flasks for glassblower baubles.
  • Alva gold gambling from the hideout.
  • POE 2 will not have wow-like UI customization.

The gender of the class is locked, but you can use any skill with any class and all of the classes use the same skill tree but start at different locations. The most popular build of this current expansion of POE 1 was to play the Ranger class as melee.

In POE 1, each class had more access to a specific attribute, like Witch was Intelligence, Marauder was Strength, Ranger was Dexterity. Scion is a hybrid class in POE. In the trailer for POE 2, they showed that you can change the attribute node on the passive tree so that any class can specialize in any attribute. So you could choose to be a witch but then stack strength.

Each ascendancy has a special focus. The trailer shows 6 ascendancies in the early access which are women: Stormweaver (lightning abilities), Chronomancer (time manipulation, this is new idk), Deadeye (projectile abilities), Pathfinder (poison and potions), Infernalist (fire abilities), and Bloodmage (blood magic). At first glance, Deadeye looks to be an ascendancy that is meant to be played only with bows, however the class actually benefits all projectile abilities including projectiles created by spells and melee weapons.

It's hard to say right now what builds will be possible because of limited information. Many of the most powerful builds in POE 1 were from using classes in unconventional ways, like by having the Maurader be a spell caster, having the Witch fire a bow, or having the Ranger do melee attacks.

I don't think you're quite getting it. You're trying to rationalize their language with your own framework but they don't operate on your framework. I'm not being hyperbolic when I use the phrase "abolish". That is the word that they used, not me. They are against Shawn Fain, yes, but they're also against the concept of labor unions in general. The trotskyist guy who ran against Shawn Fain ran with "Abolish the UAW" as his core #1 campaign promise and was shocked when he lost. They want to abolish all labor unions, not just the UAW. The SEP are acting as obstructionists to labor organizing.

this website has an archive of dprk television broadcasts. I think access is restricted to the past 6 months but they have been doing this for a few years now.

Yes but also no. Private torrent sites use a user key verification system. Each user has a unique tracker key and you can only get the peer list if you have a tracker key and you only have a tracker key if you are a user on the site. This was a website with less than 30,000 users in total and you could only join the site if you were vetted by the site staff with very strict requirements.

The main risk of torrents is copyright trolls. Copyright trolls are companies that make legal threats on behalf of copyright holders. They send out massive amount of copyright to the ISPs of whatever IPs they find in a peer list. These trolls are not really a threat on such a site. The staff are constantly looking for suspicious activity and banning suspicious people. Also it just doesn't happen. If it did, it would get posted on the forums and it doesn't.

What had happened was that a user had become compromised by IPT. It was theorized that IPT had somehow taken the usernames and passwords from their own site and used those to try to log into other sites. It is possible that IPT stores passwords in plain text. Then once they had a compromised account, they picked the most popular torrents of the year. Then they uploaded the same torrents to Kickass Torrents but injected the peers from the private site into the public site. If I remember correctly, IPT had rented a server just for this purpose and set up a public tracker service on a server solely for the purpose of this attack.

The attack was intended to expose the users to copyright trolls which are not present on the private site because copyright trolls monitor public torrent sites but not private sites.

This was back in 2015 and I did start using a VPN with torrents after the attack, but also I am not going to ever forgive iptorrents.

Also during Trump's presidency he did many things which hurt Palestinians and helped Israel, such as the Abraham Accords and moving the US embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem. He also cut funding to Palestinian aid groups, stopped funding to UNRWA. There's also speculation that his assassination of Qassem Soleimani was on behalf of Israel.

You can read the bill here https://webservices.ncleg.gov/ViewBillDocument/2023/8694/0/H237-PCCS40622-CE-5

The first thing I notice is that on page 2, line 10. it crosses out wearing a mask for "ensuring the physical health or safety of the wearer or others" and replaces the text with "preventing the spread of contagious disease."

Then on page 2 line 27-29, it says that anyone wearing a mask for the reason of preventing the spread of contagious disease "shall remove the mask upon request by a law enforcement officer" and "remove the mask upon request by the owner or occupant of public or private property where the wearer is present to allow for identification of the wearer."

Page 3 line 38 says "A person who willfully stands, sits, or lies upon the highway or street in such a manner as to impede the regular flow of traffic.traffic is guilty of a Class 2 misdemeanor."

Then on the end of Page 4 through Page 5, it gets really sneaky and starts to redefine the limit on the amount of money the Federal PACs are allowed to donate to "candidate or political committee"

https://www.newsobserver.com/news/politics-government/article289180139.html

The bill doesn’t change the prohibition on corporations being able to give to state parties or candidates. And federal political committee contributions would still be limited to $6,400 to most political committees for an election. However, the bill allows federal PACs and 527s to use separate accounts, funded only through unlimited contributions by individuals, to donate to a political party or an affiliated party committee.

But now federal super PACs will be subject to the new limits in the bill, if it becomes law.

This bill also helps federal entities shift their money around, said Bob Hall, a longtime elections watchdog. Under the bill, “a big entity – federal entity – that has corporate money and individual money can use the individual money to make donations,” said Hall.

“It is a laundry scheme in a way,” Hall said. “It does allow large, particularly individual donations, millionaires, billionaires to send $600,000 to the Republican Governors Association, the Democratic Governors Association.” Both groups are 527s.

Depending on what you consider to be "traditional 2D Mario", this list is missing Super Mario Maker (2015) and Super Mario Maker 2 (2019).

Throwback to the time that he debated Zizek on "Capitalism vs Marxism" and Peterson only prepared by reading the Communist Manifesto. Peterson didn't know enough about Marxism to even respond to Zizek.
