Trump stopped the attacks on Yemen not because he likes Yemen, he did it because the US was losing too much money from destroyed equipment. He's meeting with Saudi Arabia on Tuesday. Saudi Arabia is an enemy of Ansarallah. Trump is also meeting with UAE next week. In his first term, Trump worked with the UAE to create the Abraham accords which would allow Israel to annex 30% of the West Bank and Palestine was not allowed to be part of the negotiations.

The other information that I am inferring is that Ansarallah is possibly still going to attack commercial ships traveling to Israeli ports. Ansarallah had previously declared a trade blockade on Israel and more recently an air blockade. Ansarallah is agreeing specifically not to attack the US military, except for self defense.

What I wonder is how the US military will respond if Ansarallah again attacks a commercial ship bound for Israel. Is the US saying that it will no longer protect commercial ships? Or is Trump setting up a trick scenario where the US will reopen attacks on Yemen when Ansarallah continues their blockade on Israel?

I think that the fake Danny Devito death is a funny joke and I'll explain why.

Hexbear has a culture. Hexbear has it's own memes and references and stuff like that. The fakenews comm uses references and memes from Hexbear culture to create a story, an alternative world.

One meme on Hexbear that I've seen is like the idolization of Italian people or the Italian mafia. I believe this meme stems from Chris Cuomo in 2019 saying that "fredo" was a slur for Italians equivalent to the n-word. This is like obviously an absurd thing for Cuomo to say and chapo made fun of him for it. Then a meme sort of developed that "Italians are the most oppressed race" meme, making fun of Cuomo and other white people. Hextube started watching a lot of mafia movies and hextube made a bunch of mafia emotes exclusive to hextube. Danny Devito is partly of Italian descent and he has acted in more than one Mafia movie.

Another element is that Danny Devito is perceived as a left-leaning guy. Danny Devito campaigned for Bernie Sanders in 2016 and in 2020. Danny Devito is a beloved figure in general. Reddit loves Danny Devito. Chapos love Danny Devito. You probably love Danny Devito, which is why you are upset about a fake story.

In my opinion, humor is a subversion of expectations. You expect one thing to happen, but then something else happens, and the surprise that you experience causes you to laugh. In this new video today, they announced that POE 2 will have WASD movement instead of mouse click movement. The skill system is being reworked so like you still have links but like sockets will be shaped differently or something. It stood out to me in the trailer today that the new classes will have like attack patterns. I think it said that the one class is going to have combo points that you build up by attacking and if stop attacking, you lose the combo points. Then it said there was another class that was inherently slow that needed to time the attacks at a certain rate.

Also I am under the impression the POE 2 will have much less loot. GGG tested this out in 3.19 Kalandra league and people hated it. Kalandra league had one of the worst player retentions of any league. Then in 3.21 Crucible league, they introduced a separate game mode called Ruthless Mode where there are much less drops than the normal game play. Still very few people play ruthless mode and even none of the twitch streamers are willing to play it. The loot pinata aspect of the game is one of the more fun parts in my opinion, so I don't like the loot reduction concept.

In my experience with POE, the game is about trying to play in ways that were unintended. Finding things that you weren't supposed to do and then doing them for the maximum amount of benefit. "Exploit early, exploit often." I try to make a character that has as much damage as possible so that I can kill things without having to do any mechanics. I don't want to learn fight mechanics. I just want to kill everything in 2 seconds.

I think overall, GGG is trying to make POE 2 into more of a souls-like game. I'm not sure that I will like POE 2. Fortunately they have said that POE 2 will not be the end of POE 1, both games will still receive expansions and continue to be playable.

Qatar has also released a statement on the deal.

The State of Qatar announces the success of its joint mediation efforts undertaken with the Arab Republic of Egypt and the United States of America between Israel and the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), resulting in an agreement for a humanitarian pause. The starting time of the pause will be announced within the next 24 hours and last for four days, subject to extension.

The agreement includes the release of 50 civilian women and children hostages currently held in the Gaza Strip in exchange for the release of a number of Palestinian women and children detained in Israeli prisons, the number of those released will be increased in later stages of implementing the agreement.

The humanitarian pause will also allow the entry of a larger number of humanitarian convoys and relief aid, including fuel designated for humanitarian needs.
