The difference between capitalism and feudalism is that the serfs had a right to their land
Is it even traumatic?
Of all the medical invasive medical procedures one can have, a colonoscopy sounds the least scary. My only real concern would be the awkwardness of having a room of people all taking mental notes about how much ass hair I have.

The only real demand was to not join nato and to let the ethnic Russian majority in the east use Russian at school.

It was a bad choice to let the hard right steer the ship.

Videogames are the greatest and most accessible form of cultural outreach/propaganda currently around
Hard disagree tbh.
Examples of video game propaganda are very vibes-y and superficial. Like, sure they present “us, the good guys, vs them, the bad guys” narratives but video games are very limited in their story telling capacity compared to movies & books.
Also in terms of raw consumption, video games (hundreds of hours per year for the average consumer) are still very far below TV (2-3000 hours per year) or movies and music and very far below social media.
Approximately the same time is spent reading books as playing video games and the story telling / theme exploration / etc of a book is exceedingly greater than video games due to the constraints on the media, the capital required to produce it, the strength of authorial direction and point of view, and the like, not to mention the history of critical reading of books compared to video games which provides cultural cachet and reach beyond the readership.
Also the average consumer might watch many different TV shows and movies, the average consumer playing somewhere between only 5-10 games a year.
And this is including shit like Candy Crush and very casual mobile games which make up actually the lions share of time spent game and games played, and even among the much less popular “gamer” games you’re also including stuff like Zelda and It Takes Two, etc. Let’s be generous and include CoD, HOI4, Civilization, as political games due to the simple presence of the dominant ideology or “us, the good guys” themes and even then the audience and reach of political games just isn’t very high or important.
The impact of political messaging in games is extremely limited and the story telling / narrative building capacity of games pales in comparison to TV, movies, books, and passive media.
It’s gamer brain to put video games on a cultural pedastal.
Girl invites me over to watch a movie. I watch the fucking movie and eat a bag of popcorn. Go home.
I don’t see a theory of victory for the axis.
Economic collapse doesn’t end Israel.
And maybe they’re suffering “heavy” casualties but heavy means uncomfortable rather than unsustainable. They can sustain these losses.
The closest I can see is that Israel becomes a pariah like South Africa but if they have the US and the EU behind them, they survive.
Tell me how I’m wrong?
Like, their economy retracts by 40% or something crazy and then what happens?
I don’t see Israel defeating the axis but I don’t see how the situation changes from what it is now.
