Yes I’m still holding that grudge and I will not relent, for as long as I live.
Any movie I watch I make sure it’s not a Sony product, any music I listen to, I make doubly sure it’s not from a Sony studio. Any electronics I buy, I make triply sure it doesn’t contain any Sony product. Sony is not getting a dime from me ever again!

I'm actually in the market for a new car, and it's going to be an EV, but Tesla is not on my short list. (not just because of Musk, also because I think those cars are hideous, and I really dislike how a single iPad is used for everything. I need some physical buttons, especially for the airco unit) Instead I'm looking at the Renault Scenic or the Kia EV3.

Even at tables that use safety tools, they're still optional. You can still speak up, but it's there for people who find that difficult.
I really don't understand the animosity against tools that help improve the enjoyment for all players involved.
If you, as a player, don't want to use them, then don't.
