Hey now, there's 6 token women who pretend to be buffoons. That's good progress for the Nazi party.

Bingo. My entire circle is 1-5%ers, we are privileged and comfortable and not saying we're not part of the problem. But we're powerless. Start by eating the richest, by the time you get to me I'm going to guess there won't be a problem any more...

Third term? I'd be glad if we came to terms with it by his 6th term.

When I began my career, other senior engineers said they had heard the line since the 1970s/1980s.

It's a dig at the rich, not the professionals. There are a lot of kitschy "therapists" that serve the rich, they have no qualifications and may play the friend role. And then there are actual professionals, like LMFT and they'll establish a clear boundary.

Wage theft is the largest form of theft in the US. Business owners think it's abhorrent when they get robbed, so they steal 100x the amount from their employees to make it right. You slap their face, they amputate your limb.

You still need 2 working parents, few people want to balance a career and children. We're not designed for it. And their social help, while good for global standards, amounts to a fraction of the cost of having kids. In prehistory a whole village raised children and people barely worked. Social policies help but we need a global structural change.
