I want to thank this community in particular for being the supportive nudge in the right direction to get my shit a little bit more together. Seeing others here do better was a genuine inspiration for me and I'm so glad I decided to start. I wish you all the best in your journeys to do and be better than the day before.

Thank you for posting with us rat-salute-2

I am also inspired when I see others posting about their progress (and sometimes Ls) every week

My favourite genres are action RPG (Skyrim, Gothic, The Witcher, New Vegas), turn based tactical games (Divinity Original Sin, XCOM) and roguelikes (Cobalt Core, Hades, Slay the Spire, Monster Train). I play other genres as well but those are my favourite. I assume your favourite genre is horror? scared

I actually played Tails of Iron this year and finished it. It's a great game, I'm looking forward to the sequel. Glory to the Moleshevik Republic! rat-salute-2

That's awesome, keep it going! arm-R

If you want to track your nutrition, I recommend cronometer.com, it's free and easy. You can copy and paste entries and entire days so once you set up your favourite foods and recipes, tracking becomes really quick.

Keep us updated on your progress rat-salute-2

Congrats on the Ws!

Which calorie tracking app are you using? I'm using Cronometer on my PC, it's quick and easy because you can copy and paste entries.

In regards to journaling, have you tried a journaling app? I think it's much more practical to do journaling on the phone because the phone is always with me

You should play STALKER Call of Pripyat AKA the greatest game of all time. You can even play it for free because the standalone mod Anomaly doesn't require owning the 3 base games which it contains. Also check out Gothic I and Gothic II AKA the best RPG games ever made

Thank you for the info, I will check it out! The best book on productivity and organization that I've read is Getting Things Done by David Allen, I definitely recommend it.

Deciding on one big thing per day is a great system. I have come to the same conclusion after trying to be super productive all the time.

Being a wage slave and trying to get shit done after work can quickly get overwhelming. That's because time and energy are very limited and the things we "should" be doing are infinite. And even if you manage to be super productive, it's not very rewarding in itself. So it's very easy to burn out. I'm trying to build a consistent, balanced and sustainable routine where I can get shit done without going insane.

Btw I think you might find this interesting, it's a quick self-compassion test that I think everybody in the world should take

There are some great video game soundtracks, there's no shame in listening to that. I don't listen to music when working out but if I did, I would probably listen to something like Rage Against The Machine.

Congrats on returning back to college! Good luck with your studies
