There were talks of using them in sidewalks, but it doesn't really make much sense really. Piezo almost always only works as energy recovery, which isn't nothing but you will need the infrastructure which also isn't nothing.

Shadow of the Demon Lord does this. Each language can have speak, read, write. Players have to invest to do these things. it's kind of neat, but I can see it also being pointless book keeping to some.

I've got about a dozen installed and have been playing without issue for days. Some are installed via vortex, others manually.
