I'm suuuuuuper late to the party (is necrobumping a thing here? If so sorry!) but one tip for this setup is to not fill the bottles all the way. If you have a bit more headspace in the bottle, it's more effective to shake it and more CO2 dissolves in my experience.

Beyond that, having a high enough pressure for the part going into the bottle is important. I normally use 45 psi or so and that gets me the right kind of prickly water for my tastebuds.

I know you said you don't have it anymore, but just in case you wanna try again at any point in the future or just for people reading this, figured this might be useful.

If you leave it to sit out in a pitcher uncovered for like 30 minutes the chlorine taste goes away
